About Dr. Don Agcopra, MD for LCHD

Though I have been a practicing neurologist for more than 20 years, yet I feel like I have been the most effective in truly living up to my calling as a "doctor" and a "healer" of my patients during the most recent years that I have began publicly advocating the Low Carbohydrate Healthy Fats (LCHF) diet and Intermittent Fasting (IF) lifestyle for the reversal of the Metabolic Syndrome.

Now we know based on numerous studies that Metabolic Syndrome is actually mostly due to "insulin resistance," and perhaps the best intervention we have known so far in the scientific community to reverse it is no less than a properly planned lifestyle modification revolving around therapeutic carbohydrate restriction – which is the cornerstone of the LCHF lifestyle.

It is my goal to motivate people – especially YOU – if you seriously want to attain your best metabolic health ever, by developing healthy habits and adopting a much healthier lifestyle. And the GOOD NEWS is – by assuming personal responsibility, YOU can actually empower your SELF and manage YOUR own health this way!

And doing so, you can actually transform YOURSELF and live a fuller life with:

MISSION & VISION

My mission is to educate the public about the widespread prevalence and dangers of the Metabolic Syndrome (MetS), and to raise awareness about the low carbohydrate healthy fats (LCHF) diet and lifestyle as an effective approach towards preventing and reversing the adverse effects of the Metabolic Syndrome and alleviate its overall negative impact on a worldwide scale.

My vision is a world where the Metabolic Syndrome (MetS) is widely recognized as a serious global health concern and where individuals have access to real and unfiltered information and resources they need to prevent and manage this condition, leading to improved overall health outcomes and reduced rates of related diseases and its complications. I further envision a world where people understand the importance of nourishing their bodies with wholesome, nutrient-dense foods, as well as the need for a balanced mental and physical well-being, and where the true benefits of the low carbohydrate, healthy fat (LCHF) diet is an accepted norm for the optimization of health and wellbeing based on real scientific data and evidence-based medicine.
